Greetings, OK, I'm a newbie in this game and I need help. Nntpcached runs fine for me at home but I cannot get it to go at the school. Running 1.0.3. I just ran a script so here it is. One obvious point is that there is no directory in my cache (/sda6/news) for my news ISP, (news.iinet.net.au) but for all I know this might be normal until I start reading news from the groups. A point not covered in the script is that if I use tin to go straight to news.iinet.net.au I can read the news just fine. I would much appreciate any pointers on either things to read or things to check.
