System: linux 2.0.18 kernel I observe the following status via top: PID USER PRI NI SIZE RSS SHARE STAT LIB %CPU %MEM TIME COMMAND 14114 news 0 0 5644 5644 5512 S 0 0.0 24.6 0:01 nntpcached nntpcached is using a large chunk of the CPU when trying to access a particular newsgroup and seems to be in some sort of run loop. The newsreader is hung after reading part of the newsgroup. It never recovers. I don't recall this problem in 1.0.1. Anyone else seen this and care to comment. -Jeff Douglass
