Hi,
I'm trying to get nntpcache to run on an AlphaServer 1000A running
Digital Unix 4.0
When I run nntpcached it dies with the following:
Stack overflow: pid 16090, proc nntpcached, addr 0x11fdff918, pc 0x3ff801812d8
Stack overflow: pid 16089, proc nntpcached, addr 0x11fdff928, pc 0x3ff801812d8
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
and the following is recorded in the syslog.
Feb 12 16:03:34 tawa syslog: nntpcache.c:453:No such device: Memory currupt
Feb 12 16:03:34 tawa last message repeated 10 times
Feb 12 16:03:34 tawa syslog: nntpcache.c:453:Bad file number: Memory currupt
Feb 12 16:03:34 tawa last message repeated 69 times
Any ideas what the problem is?
