Hello, I have installed nntpcached 1.0.1 on Linux/Slackware kernel version 2.0.27 It all seemed to install ok and run but when I telnet to the port : telnet news 119 Trying 203.56.105.10... Connected to ria.roxby.net.au. Escape character is '^]'. 200 ria.roxby.net.au NNTPcache server V1.0.1 Feb 11 1997 ready (posting ok). list 215 . list active.times 215 . quit 205 Nothing seems to work. When the dameon starts it does do a lot of socket activity to the news server and I can read and post news normally from the nntpcached host. Any help appreciated. Stephen Baxter
