Hi Julian: I've looked through the code and didn't find syncGroup or anything that fixes the problem of having the remote server's group in sync with CurrentGroup. This breaks if the newsreader (i.e. Netscape :) issues a number of "group"s to find out the high and lows of each group in .newsrc, and then when the real group command comes it will not be passed to the remote server as the info is available locally. This is all OK until the newsreader starts to write out xovers and articles which if passed to the remote server will fail as the remote server didn't get the group command. Of course if you've already fixed it in some subtle way then just point me to it:) -- Debian GNU/Linux 1.1 is out! { http://www.debian.org/ } Email: Herbert Xu ~{PmV>HI~} <herbert@greathan.apana.org.au> { http://greathan.apana.org.au/~herbert/ } PGP Key: pgp-public-keys@pgp.mit.edu or any other key sites
