Does nntpcache support xpat command?

Hi,

Regarding my previous query, I've tried to enable "relayUnknown" option in
nntpcache.config to "yes" (pls see below). However, it still didn't work. It
seems that nntpcache would relay the unknown command to another news server
and only respond with a status code. The results of the command query are
not shown. Also, it takes quite a long time for the completion of the
command.

Could anyone give me suggestion on using commands which nntpcache doesn't
support? How should nntpcache be configured?

Thanks alot.

Rgds,
Simon

nntpcache.config
----------------
# relay unknown commands to the most recently used news-server.
# may bypass group (and other) security features, depending on
# what commands the remote news-server supports.
relayUnknowns yes

Execution result of unknown command
-----------------------------------
XPAT subject 58-58 *
221.

Note: Only status code is shown. No "subject" result is displayed.
