I'm trying out nntpcache (NNTPCache-2.4.0b5) and have run into the following oddness. The news reader I was testing with (trn) typically does a "HEAD" on an article, followed by a "BODY". If the article isn't cached I have the following two (probably related) problems: 1) "body" includes the header as well as the article body. 2) the header is missing the first two characters "Pa" of "Path") . Notes: - subsequent body requests for the same article _don't_ return the header - requesting the body before requesting the head or doing "body, head, body" doesn't demonstrate the problem - doing head, article doesn't cause the header returned by the "article" command to have characters missing. Anyone else seen this behaviour? I went looking through the code, but haven't had a lot of time to spend really understanding what's going on there and it looks mighty complex.
