Here's some more bad juju:

Increased maxMmap from 16M to 24M:

system reboot at around 9:30, than these messages follow:
10:05:20 nmalloc.c:25: XMcalloc call from list.c:__LINE__ for 100 bytes failed
10:33:54 nmalloc.c:25: XMcalloc call from list.c:__LINE__ for 100 bytes failed
11:43:52 nmalloc.c:25: XMcalloc call from list.c:__LINE__ for 100 bytes failed
12:32:00 nmalloc.c:25: XMcalloc call from list.c:__LINE__ for 100 bytes failed
13:39:53 nmalloc.c:25: XMcalloc call from list.c:__LINE__ for 100 bytes failed
13:55:31 nmalloc.c:25: XMcalloc call from list.c:__LINE__ for 100 bytes failed
14:33:59 nmalloc.c:25: XMcalloc call from list.c:__LINE__ for 100 bytes failed
15:37:02 nmalloc.c:25: XMcalloc call from list.c:__LINE__ for 100 bytes failed
16:06:16 nmalloc.c:25: XMcalloc call from list.c:__LINE__ for 100 bytes failed
09:00:02 nmalloc.c:25: XMcalloc call from list.c:__LINE__ for 100 bytes failed
10:28:43 nmalloc.c:14: XMcalloc call from xover.c:__LINE__ for 12 bytes failed
11:22:48 nmalloc.c:25: XMcalloc call from list.c:__LINE__ for 100 bytes failed
12:04:23 nmalloc.c:25:Interrupted system call:
XMcalloc call from nntpcache.c:__LINE__ for 1 bytes failed
11:00:10 nmalloc.c:25: XMcalloc call from list.c:__LINE__ for 100 bytes failed
And now nntpcached is gone :-(((

Only about 10 clients connect to the cache.
News traffic is maybe 10kB aday.
One might believe this should not happen :-((

Any sugestions?

Increase maxMmap more?

Best regards,
