Hi I run a newsserver with nntpcached 2.3.3 on port 119 and either DNEWS or INN on port 119 to serve local groups. The server runs RedHat 5.1. Below are excerpts from the :9119 webpage. My problem (for four long weeks of fiddeling): Even though I can do a LIST on port 120 and get a list of the newsgroups, the newgroups does not appear in the LIST from nntpcache on port 119. All other newsgroups show up fine. Then the other night, I noticed that locahost has the Passed field empty. Perhaps there is some sort of connection to my problem? Has anyone thoughts on this? I'm root on the system so I can supply you with the information you might need, but I don't know exactly which to supply. I've tried both INN 2.1 and DNEWS 4.7, but that didn't change anything. Now I lean more towards the idea that the problem is in the nntpcache somewhere.
