I have NNTPCache installed on a FreeBSD 2.2.6 system, and I am
just having a little bit of problems understanding the nntpcache.servers
file. I have looked through the documentation, and been unable to find the
answer to my question, which is basically this:
I don't quite understand how the layout of the
nntpcache.servers file is supposed to look. I am also unsure of the
format, and what I should put for the various entries such as Active, Act.tim,
Newsgrp, Group,Xover, and Arts. Is there something that explains the
configuration of this file in a little more detail? Also, would anyone be
willing to send me an actual working file and maybe a small explanation of why
something is placed in one of the above listed fields?
I would be most appreciative.
