2.3.3b2 stats buglet

  If I kill the master nntpcache, it seems that bogus values are written
to nntpcache.stats for CPU and User time (1y23d2h40m32s).  I have to
remove nntpcache.stats to prevent this.

  This is on FreeBSD 2.2.6.
