Subject: [Oz-ISP] NNTP problem (nntpcache, Lotus Notes)

I've been asked to look into a problem for an associate, and hope someone
here will have some information on the subject.

In brief, party A has a lotus notes server they are using for usenet
distribution within their network. Party B has a caching news server
(nntpcache, about 12 months old I believe, I'll get more information if
it's relevant). Aparantly, the two WERE communicating about 12 months
ago, although with an earlier version of lotus notes, but aparantly the
same version of nntpcache. Since then, no-one knows how many things have
changed, both people claim no "relevant" parts have changed, but it now
doesn't work.

An extract of the communication log from the notes end, shows:
(I don't have any logs from the other person at this stage to see what's
happening at their end... I'm just trying to help out a friend at this time)

The "NEWNEWS" seems to be asking for articles after 3:40 am 7/5 GMT so why
didn't I get them?

(Yes, I've changed 'party B' domain name to "xxx.yyy")

Anyone got any wisdom to offer here?

Thanks, RossW
