If this happens, nntpcache gives a 400 or 500 error and newshound removes the group from hound.list. Not the most ideal behaviour IMO, but it doesn't hang the hound. The hangs I'm getting are happening in the middle of groups. It'll be chugging along quite happily, then stop dead. AB
