The National Institutes of Health's Brain Research Through Advancing Innovative Neurotechnologies(R) (BRAIN) Initiative director, Dr. John Ngai, will brief reporters on advances in neuroscience research and discuss highlights from the 2022 8th Annual BRAIN Initiative Meeting: Open Science, New Tools. Topics will include recent advancements in deep brain stimulation technologies and treatments for mood disorders, diversity of participants in neuroimaging studies, linking brain activity to complex behavior, and the quest to build a human brain cell atlas.
