stack pointer

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

struct task_struct { volatile long state; /* -1 unrunnable, 0 runnable, >0 stopped */ void *stack; atomic_t usage; unsigned int flags; /* per process flags, defined below */ unsigned int ptrace;

What does the field void *stack indicate here?
Is it the pointer to kernel stack of the process?

Where is the stack pointer for the current process stored in linux?
