A Question Regarding IPV6 Routes in kernel..

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

I have observed that for IPv6, whenever we add a subnet, it is associated with the loopback device too which is visible through /proc/net/iv6_route.

I don't see this happening with ipv4 routes. Is there any reason for doing so for IPv6 routes?

Thanks,
