Wakeup source has its relevance mostly for system suspend/resume where in a device (eg keyboard) can pull the system out of suspend mode. In Runtime-pm, the device is the wake-up source for itself unless there exist a parent-child relationship ie under some conditions the child can wakeup the parent.
