Hello everyone !

Can anybody tell me the sequence of common events when a hardware (Lets say  USB stick/ keyboard) is connected to a machine running Linux kernel ?

Why am I having the feeling that this question is similar to Task 05 of the Eudyptula Challenge ???

Actually i am new to this Device Driver field and i want to know what happen in common when a device is connected to a machine running Linux Kernel. Any link or source will be helpful .
