Hi,

I just compiled v3.12-rc4 on my other device and rebooted it. It does
not find my WLAN-Chip!

The log (at /var/log/kern.log) says

    ath5k phy0: Atheros AR2425 chip found (MAC: 0xe2, PHY: 0x70)

for the _old_ kernel (3.2.0-4-amd64). The new Kernel does not bring up
such a line in the log.

How to submit this to the lkml / or to (which?) appropriate
sub-mailinglist? Which information to include?

I used to submit bug reports to https://bugzilla.kernel.org/index.cgi . It will send your report to the right mail lists.
