For what it's worth in our company we use busybox in our embedded product.
At least to me, it seems fairly easy to config and to install. I would give it a try, make a few tests rather than take for granted those gobox slides.

About license issues, I assume naveen has some propietary application and want to run it on some box. But as long as you don't *link* to busybox (somehow) or use *code* from it, and just launch it as 'busybox ls', I think there is no problem. Maybe I am wrong about this.

As people already told you, probably in another busybox-related mail list
you are going to find more help.
