The problem with kernel projects in GSoC is that they almost never lend
themselves to good projects.  There have been exceptions in the past,
but note that you are going to have to provide your own proposals for a
project, there will probably not be any kernel projects created by
anyone else for people to wish to take on.

Do you have something in mind that you wish to work on that might be a
good project proposal?
