Googling also shows that libtls is the TLS library I did not see any tls dir entries in my process' addr map: $ cat /proc/<my apps' pid>/maps | grep tls $ As a matter of fact, there's no /lib/tls dir at all! But I'm not sure if this means that NPTL is NOT supported....because I can see the individual threads under the 'task' of my apps' /proc listing...
