recently (2 years back..) when google came up with android the 1st
development environment they provided was ubuntu ...

]i've used fedora/red-hat for a long time before and was on all the
development servers in our organization ... it's only recently that
the setup of ubuntu has begun to crop up .. the support is great ...
and essentially its all linux and gnome right .. and hence no WARS
being fought here... everyone wins.. no matter what you use..
