Have you visit  http://sources.redhat.com/jffs2/jffs2-html/ ?

Anyway, quick reading on that page....I came to no clear answer.
However, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JFFS2 gives a bit clue. Assuming
I was right that JFFS2 use compression, then max file size might
vary...depending on the compression ratio.
