Linux Kernel Development is a very good book for beginners IMO, I'd
read this first and then pick up another one (which depends on the
topics you are interested in)

I recommend a look at:

http://elinux.org/Linux_Kernel_Resources#Books

Though if your requirement really is a book written in 2010 you won't find
much I fear
