  if you're talking about the first few lessons of the tutorial here:

(sorry, had to repeat the link since tapas dropped it from his reply),
if you're following along and you can't get the first kernel module
example to work, leave a comment there and someone will probably
help you out fairly quickly.

  the whole point of those first few lessons is that they should just
flat-out *work* for everyone, and if they don't, let me know and i'll
fix whatever needs fixing.
