Some of these may include additional shared libraries required to run the elf executable, pics/images your elf executable could access, various configuration files required for proper execution of the application, documentation (may or may not be needed during execution of your application).
In absence of some of these components, specially shared library files, program may crash in unexpected way after execv() system call.
If you are building from source code, you won't need the source codes or header files once the application is built.
