You mean like FUSE http://fuse.sourceforge.net/ ?

I had a look at fuse and it seems to be useful. At the same time I went through the documentation of "sysfs" and it said:

"When writing sysfs files, userspace processes should first read the entire file, modify the values it wishes to change, then write the entire buffer back." [1]

Is this what I need?
