Re: Where is the mkinitrd command ?

Hello,
Sorry, it seems to me that I was misunderstood.

I also made that grep and got these results.
This does not explain a simple question:
when running "make modules_install", where is the invokation of
mkinitrd ? I cannot find it in the kernel tree (and Markus answer does
not show it either).

Any idea? this question really puzzles me !
