2 Books:
 1. Linux Device Drivers by Corbet, Rubini and Greg
 2. Essential Linux Device Drivers by Sreekrishnan Venkateswaran

Both have chapters explaining USB driver. The second one is a newer
book, and hence reflects the state of recent kernel versions.
