I suppose you want to write a SCSI HBA (host bus adapter) driver, as the drivers for targets like disks, cdroms, etc. are already there or can be done from userland (like scanners). > Do I need any Specific hardware ? SCSI hardware would be nice. Be prepared to bring lots of money, SCSI hardware is usually five times as expensive as SATA hardware. You need at least a non-supported HBA for which you're going to write a driver, a supported HBA to test things, and a target (disk should be fine). > How do I know if there is a SCSI adapter in my PC. lspci should tell you. Otherwise open the case and look for a SCSI connector. Erik -- Erik Mouw -- mouw@xxxxxxxxxxxx
