building kernels remotely with "O="

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

just to clarify one thing, when i'm configuring/building a kernel in
a directory other than the source directory with "O=", i'm assuming
that i will *never* actually build any make targets while located in
that remote directory, right? that is, *all* "make"ing is invariably
done while in the source directory.

i just wanted to make sure i wasn't missing any subtle exceptions.
