You need to compile the driver for the BusLogic as a module, or change
your local configuration to not depend on it (/etc/modprobe.conf), most
likely.

Device Drivers -> SCSI device support -> SCSI low-level drivers
  -> BusLogic SCSI support (CONFIG_SCSI_BUSLOGIC).

This is a problem generating your initrd, not installing the kernel
proper.
