Re: kernel panic while booting kernel

while doing "make install"  it(initrd) is by default created.
u r right. how can i make it accessible?
if not possible then tell me the exact kernel version which i should download and get the properly working without any hurdle along with the steps required to install it.
I followed the steps told by Pavan.
