Hell, According to "undestanding the Linux Kernel, (section 18.7), (Oreilly) "The Ext3 journal is usually stored in a hidden file named .journal located in the root directory of the filesystem. ". I have fedora core 7 on x86_64. The filesystem is ext3 (only - no ext2). Yet, "locate .journal" does **not** return anything. Any ideas?
