I have had some requests in the past for a web forum, and finally got around to setting one up today: http://forum.kernelnewbies.org/ Since a web forum is somewhere in-between the immediacy of IRC and email and the foreverness of a web site, I have set up a number of forums on topics where the information stays relevant for a few months or years and is suitable for discussion. If you want a forum set up, please let me know. I would really appreciate it if a few people could help kick off the kernel newbies forum community.
