Hi!

Timesys offers some podcasts and webinars on its homepage (http://www.timesys.com/services/webinars.htm). There is also a podcast and webinar about boot time. This gives you only a very basic overview about the boot process, but I think it's a good way to find out what happens when booting the kernel, and where you could start minimizing the boot time of your machine.

Hi all,

Im working on a ppc-arch 2.6.14 kernel m/c. I wanted to speed up the
booting process. I googl'd it but got loads of info.

Any info regarding the same would be of great helpful to me.

Thanks
Ashok
