difference between dmac_clean_range() and clean_dcache_area()

hi all, 

can anybody please tell me difference between dmac_clean_range() and clean_dcache_area()? I am using 2.6.11 on ARM11. It seems to me that both clean dcache lines specified by arguments (only the arguments that both functions take are different), Is there any difference in their functionality.
