Hi
Can some body help in developing our own file systems and where to start
.or suggest some good resources.

Check FUSE website, maybe you can get the idea there. it's an implementation of user space file system. Or...maybe you can check simple fs code like tmpfs/ramfs and extend it...uhm, adding snapshot support maybe?
