Hello out there, I have s simple, I presume a parser error. The code ist a simple "MODULE_PARM(major, "i");" but I get this error: /home/chris/tmp/me1400-1.2.12/me1400.c:119: error: expected ')' before string constant My architecture is Debian/i386 running on a Intel Xeon. My gcc-version is 4.1.2 What could cause this problem.
How do you expect people to be able to answer that when you don't show your code that cause it? The only thing one can say without seeing your code is the same thing as the compiler is saying. -- Jesper Juhl <jesper.juhl@xxxxxxxxx> Don't top-post http://www.catb.org/~esr/jargon/html/T/top-post.html Plain text mails only, please http://www.expita.com/nomime.html -- To unsubscribe from this list: send an email with "unsubscribe kernelnewbies" to ecartis@xxxxxxxxxxxx Please read the FAQ at http://kernelnewbies.org/FAQ
