Hi All,
I am not sure whether this is the right place to discuss about this. Can anyone please help me to find out the UUID of the disk
( ide and scsi). I am not sure whether in Linux, disk has UUID.I know the partitions of the disk having a valid filesystem posess a UUID
which can be found out through 'blkid' utility with the disk partition name i.e. blkid /dev/hda1 and also through /dev/disk/by-uuid... etc.

Any link or softcopy is also welcome :-)

Thanks in advance.

regards
santosh
