Re: how to build only portions of the source tree?

Hi,

and read the page numbered "27", the section entitled "Building Only a
Portion of the Kernel,"  can someone provide the commands to do those
things that actually work?  at this point, i'm convinced that those
commands just don't function as advertised.  thanks.


Are you sure you are not missing any thing? It is working like a charm
at my end. I'm trying this:

make ARCH=mips CROSS_COMPILE=mips_4KC- drivers/serial/

And voila!
