the kernel was compiled with :


make bzImage && make modules && make modules_install && make
allyesconfig make allmodconfig


and then make install


is there any other way to get across this problem ???

Mark your root filesystem type as "Y" and not "M" while building kernel.
Also make initramfs support as "Y".
