> yes but make allyesconfig only chooses Y among Y/m/M/N . I also need > to choose m in place where it is ?? I am not sure what "make > allyesconfig" does in situations where there are no Ys ? First do "make allyesconfig", and then do "make menuconfig" and manually select "M" for anything that looks like "<*>". However, it probably won't boot. I have tried "allyesconfig" and "allmodconfig" several times and it breaks on the hardware because of multiple autoconfigurations and autodetections screwing each other over. I even managed to get my IDE devices and ATA bus detected completely as SCSI, somehow. Which, naturally, didn't work. Have fun with that. -- To unsubscribe from this list: send an email with "unsubscribe kernelnewbies" to ecartis@xxxxxxxxxxxx Please read the FAQ at http://kernelnewbies.org/FAQ
