First do "make allyesconfig", and then do "make menuconfig" and manually 
select "M" for anything that looks like "<*>". However, it probably won't 
boot. I have tried "allyesconfig" and "allmodconfig" several times and it 
breaks on the hardware because of multiple autoconfigurations and 
autodetections screwing each other over. I even managed to get my IDE 
devices and ATA bus detected completely as SCSI, somehow. Which, 
naturally, didn't work. Have fun with that.
