64MB sounds way too low, I'm running with 2GB of swapspace:

Filename                        Type            Size    Used   Priority

There used to be a 1GB per swap partition (or file) limit, but that's
long gone (somewhere during 2.3 development, IIRC). No idea what the
current limit is, though.
