Thanks. give rz command,you dont need to specify the filename,press ENTER,after that you press CTRL+S,select the file and you should be done. Also note that you need to have tools for zmodem file transfer on your machine,some thing like "lrzsz" package on debian.
i can't clearly understand u r problem .i assume followings.as i work on embedded system A -be the computer which run minicom - host system B- target system -Embedded system i use minicom as the debug terminal for system B. when i want to send file form A--> B i just type "lrz" on minicom and the application will run on system B( as minicom is the Debug terminal) then i just press Ctrl+A on minicom. the press s to upload the file when i want to get a file form B--> A i type "lsz filename" on minimicom an minicom will automatically receive that file and save it on it's current working folder. i think this will help for u regards dilan -- Kernelnewbies: Help each other learn about the Linux kernel.
