good source for condensed kernel API?

what's the best source for a fairly terse coverage of the kernel
API?

first, google can find stuff like this:

http://www.gnugeneration.com/mirrors/kernel-api/book1.html

which is *very* close to what i'm looking for -- a condensed API. but
it's not clear that that's up to date and, when i "make htmldocs", the
resulting HTML doesn't have a TOC like that, which i really, *really*
want.

any suggestions for a fairly complete, but still concise, kernel
API? thanks.
