what enhancements are needed in hugetlbfs???

Hey all,
   
   
  I am a Linux newbie  and i am currently studying about the hugetlbfs.
  I read in page that hugetlb pages cannot be reclaimed and swapped by 
Linux VM as such functionality is not yet provided by Linux VM.
   
  So can anyone tell me:
  - what are the other limitations of hugetlbfs?
  - what enhancements can be done in hugetlbfs?
