Hi, Is it possible to simply copy installed applications from one linux machine to another (same linux version and machine architecture) ? Or does it have the same problems as doing this on a Windows machine i.e. on Windows app info is stored in a common registry and in other places making it difficult to transfer the app to another machine without proper re-instalation.
