check www.openmosix.org and www.openssi.org (also www.kerrighed.org, but 
never use it by myself ). Not exactly remote fork, more precisely they 
do process migration. Specificly to openmosix, it does forward the 
system call to the home node, so that includes fork() too. They bring 
tasks around the cluster nodes to achieve the clusterwide optimal load.
